At ReelJet, your privacy is not an afterthought — it's the foundation of our service. We have designed our entire platform to minimize data collection and maximize anonymity. Below, we explain exactly what information we process and how we protect it.
ReelJet does not require registration, email sign-up, or any form of user account. We never ask for your Instagram username, password, or any other personal identifier. When you use our tool, you remain completely anonymous.
The Instagram URL you paste is transmitted to our API servers solely for the purpose of fetching the video. The URL is processed in real-time and is not stored in any database or log file. Once the download link is generated, the URL is discarded permanently. We do not retain any history of your downloads.
Like most websites, our servers may temporarily log standard HTTP request data (e.g., IP address, browser type, timestamp) for security and performance monitoring. However, these logs are anonymized and rotated every 7 days. We do not use these logs to identify individual users. Additionally, we use Google Analytics (anonymized IP enabled) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — no personal data is shared.
ReelJet uses essential cookies for basic functionality (e.g., to remember your theme preference). We do not use fingerprinting or invasive tracking. Third-party ads served via Google AdSense may set cookies for ad personalization; you can opt out of personalized ads by visiting Google Ad Settings.
All communications between your browser and ReelJet servers are encrypted using TLS 1.3. We regularly patch our systems and follow industry best practices to prevent unauthorized access. Since we store zero user data, the risk of a data breach is virtually nonexistent.
ReelJet is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from minors. If you are a parent and believe your child has used our service, please contact us; we will ensure no data remains (though we store none).
If we update our privacy practices, we will post the revised policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of ReelJet constitutes acceptance of any changes.
